We want to stay true to the mission, vision and values of the the Center by developing a relationship with our neighbors in need, which will allow an effective dynamic presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In a sensitive, caring means, we hope to give them a spiritual as well as practical foundation on which they can successfully build their lives. The work of the Center is focused on helping Neighbors in need, whether child or adult, to oversee the multiplying problems of the downward spiral of poverty: hunger, low motivation, lack of good example, failure and scarcity of hope; at the core of our work is the promotion of a genuine and lasting relationship with Jesus Christ who offers renewal and a reason for living.
Our Mission
To serve our neighbors in need with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and provide hope and healing through education and discipleship.
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you game me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” Matthew 25:35-36

Our Vision
Our vision for the Neighborhood Christian Center is a community that lives and proclaims the Gospel of Jesus Christ. By conducting ministry that meets both practical and spiritual needs, we envision a transformation in the lives of those we serve, in effect “changing a generation.” Since 1994, the NCC has laid a strong foundation of ministry in our community, and the coming years will build on that foundation to reach even more people by training individuals to carry out compassionate, Christ-centered ministry.
"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Our Values
Jesus Christ taught that in order to love Him, we must love each other. To imitate Christ, we must abide in Him, thereby coming to know His heart. The Psalmist reveals the heart of Christ:
“He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets prisoners free. The LORD gives sight to the blind, the LORD lifts up those who are bowed down, the LORD loves the righteous. The LORD watches over the alien and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but He frustrates the ways of the wicked.” Psalm 146:7-9
