Neighborhood Christian Center

Changing a generation one life at a time
GIVE
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
Philippians 1:6

Opening Doors to Hope and New Beginnings

Recently, we welcomed a mother into the Nehemiah House with her two children. She has also recently been granted custody of her three nephews, bringing her family to five children. Living in a small two-bedroom apartment, she longed for a safe and stable place for her family. We connected with her through CASA and were inspired by her determination. She is employed, has been accepted into nursing school, and is working hard to build a brighter future. Nehemiah House will provide the security and support her family needs as she pursues her education and creates a stable home for the children in her care.

At Ruth House, we are excited to announce that a new roof will soon be installed thanks to a generous grant. We are also celebrating one resident who successfully completed the program and now serves as the Neighborhood Christian Center's In-Kind Donation Coordinator while continuing to reside at the Ruth House as she prepares for full independence. In addition, we recently welcomed a new resident and her nine-month-old baby. As she works to overcome addiction, we are honored to provide encouragement, accountability, and a Christ-centered community to help her move toward lasting hope and healing.

Thank you for your prayers and support as we continue to provide safe housing, practical assistance, and the hope of Christ to families rebuilding their lives.
