The year 2020 is a year we won’t soon forget. But Always remember, we have a Sovereign God. A God who is not surprised by anything. He is our protector and comforter. Listen to what it says in Ecclesiastes 3: 11,14: “He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end… I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that people will fear him.” This year may not have been what you thought it would, but it is exactly how God knew it would be.

Because of our generous donors, volunteer groups, and families, we were able to make sure our community had what they needed throughout this uncertain time due to Covid-19. We have been able to provide numerous families with a bag full or groceries and hygiene kits for every member of the family along with extra help on utility bills.

Since we wanted to make sure our neighborhood children had enough to eat, staff and volunteers have been purchasing, packing, and delivering snack packs weekly throughout the neighborhoods we serve.

Looking ahead into next year is harder than it has ever been. We do not know what the future holds, but we do know our mission stays the same: to serve our neighbors in need with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and provide Hope and Healing through education and discipleship. We are hoping that 2021 will be filled with more smiles, more Bible studies, more children and youth activities, and more places to share the Gospel!
